Memorial

 

       Local public service agencies are working to develop the Lubbock 

Regional Public Safety Memorial which will be unveiled in the Spring of 2006.


The Memorial is dedicated to recognizing local, state, and federal-Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement agencies that have members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Agencies included in this project are the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County and the fourteen surrounding counties that represent the South Plains.

The Memorial will be located at Jack Stevens Park, 75th Street and Slide Road, Lubbock, Texas in the Northeast corner of the park.

Ground Breaking took place on September 11, 2004.

The ground is broken for the Memorial.
